2 Answers. Try "resetting" your keyless entry code. Which is a fancy way of explaining that I broke my keyless entry key fob and had to order a new one. It came w/ instructions explaining how to get the new fob to speak to the car's computer. It was weird (turn key on and off 3 times, open and close door three times, etc.
6 posts · Joined 2014. #7 · Dec 1, 2014. I ordered a new keyless remote entry module from the Mazda dealer and was told they were available for $200. I told the dealer to order the module and to replace it when he was replacing the air bag canister in the recall.

GL! Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open. Step 2: Lock and unlock the driver’s door using the power door lock switch on the door. Step 3: Insert key into the ignition. Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds.
